Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using VotixCare's services, website, practice management platform, or patient mobile application (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Services.
Description of Services
VotixCare provides a cloud-based practice management platform designed for optometry clinics. Our Services include a web-based practice dashboard for healthcare providers, a mobile application for patients, and administrative tools for multi-location management. Features include electronic health records, appointment scheduling, secure messaging, prescription management, billing, and analytics.
Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free trial account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
Subscription and Payment
VotixCare offers subscription-based pricing on a per-optometrist basis. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
- Provide valid payment information and authorize recurring charges
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
- Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied
Free Trial
VotixCare offers a 7-day free trial for new accounts. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe to a paid plan. If you do not subscribe, your account will be downgraded and access to premium features will be restricted. Data entered during the trial will be retained for 30 days after trial expiration.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use the Services to store or transmit content that violates any law or regulation
- Resell, sublicense, or share access to your account without authorization
Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into VotixCare. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Services. You may export your data at any time through our platform.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our Services. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for temporary interruptions caused by maintenance, system updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to the Services will continue until the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will make your data available for export for 30 days.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VotixCare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
